Established in 2009, Values Based Solutions has helped many organisations to achieve property solutions well beyond their expectations.
As Business Property Specialists, we have many years experience in:
Buying, selling and leasing business property;
Developing and implementing strategies to maximize the performance and returns of an individual property, portfolio and/or fund; and
Creating finance strategies for acquiring and managing business property.
We make it our business to keep up-to-date with rapidly changing property markets and are highly qualified to advise clients on how to gain the maximum value from their business property interest’s.
We understand that all clients have different needs, so offer a premium, personalized service, completely independent of any third party interests. We operate on a fee-for-service basis and are confident that our services deliver clients with many times the value of our fees. As a specialist resource, our services may only be required from time to time, but we expect their value to be long lasting.
Our Name
Our name, Values Based Solutions, says a great deal about what we believe in, aspire to and strive hard to deliver.
First and foremost we are about delivering business property solutions. It is important to us that these solutions don’t just meet, but well and truly exceed clients’ expectations. We value our client relationships extremely highly and feel privileged to be able to apply our property expertise in a way that helps clients implement successful strategies, decisions and negotiations that are of high importance to their business success.
We also recognise that different businesses have their own culture and values. It is a widely held belief that the best business decisions are underpinned by an adherence to an organisation’s values. One of the cornerstones of our approach to providing business property solutions is to ensure we understand our clients’ values. We believe this helps us to ensure our advice is right for our clients.
Just as importantly from our perspective, we aspire to be a values based organisation. The values based concept has many facets, but for us it essentially comes back to respecting and valuing our clients, suppliers, staff and community. We do this through:

Simon Edwards - Director
Simon is the Founder and Director of Values Based Solutions.
Since establishing this company in 2009, Simon has felt in a privileged position to assist so many clients on their property matters. This client base has included many types of businesses including Physio’s, Medical Practices, Consulting Engineers to cover just a few business types. As well, Simon has assisted many Churches and Charities on their property requirements. These services have covered off lease negotiations, land and building acquisitions, managing sales, as well as overseeing their developments - through the design, approvals and construction phases.
He has over 30 years of experience in property and financial services and brings together a unique and diverse skill set which shape his expertise as a Business Property Specialist.
Since acquiring his first commercial property at the age of 17, Simon has gained extensive property experience, both from buying and managing his own properties and from many years employment in the property industry. He has previously held executive positions within property funds management, including the chief responsibility for buying, selling and leasing commercial properties as well as advising on property fund structures. Complementing this, Simon was a Chartered Accountant for over 25 years with extensive experience as a Taxation Specialist, Financial Planner and Project Manager.
Through his values based work ethic and team focused culture, Simon has developed systems and processes that achieve results. He has also created an extensive network of talented property professionals, whose services he feels privileged to be able to call upon. Simon’s skill base is ideally suited to assisting clients with their business property requirements.
